Visa Singapore

Do Russian travellers need a transit visa for Singapore?

VisaToSingapore Editorial TeamReviewed Jun 18, 2026

For a Russian traveller, the transit-visa question turns on your itinerary, mainly whether you leave the transit area and where you fly on to. The Visa-Free Transit Facility exists, but it covers only passengers whose case meets its conditions.

Those conditions are updated periodically and rest on your documents and onward flight, so it's safer to confirm your own routing than to rely on what worked for someone else.

If a short connection through Changi is in your plan, read the current ICA transit guidance before you book. A transit requirement is simple to manage in advance and costly to discover at the gate.
