Check directly with ICA
ICA lets you check your visa status on their official system. You'll need your visa reference number and the applicant's passport (travel document) number.

If someone sent you an e-Visa PDF, verify it against a copy retrieved through ICA SAVE rather than trusting the document's appearance. You need the application reference and travel-document number; the e-Visa number is different.
