Singapore authorised visa agent: how to choose the right filing route

The right Singapore visa filing route depends on what you already have. If your own Singapore local contact with SingPass or your visa agency will submit, the Form 14A package gives them a ready file. If Form V39A is needed, our US$49 letter plan can prepare it for an eligible own contact to sign and file through ICA; where a permitted mission or authorised-agent route asks for the letter and you have nobody in Singapore, our sponsor can sign for an eligible case. We do not file on that plan. Full filing support may be available if you want us to arrange an eligible route and submit.

For visa-required travellers, ICA describes several permitted routes: a Singapore local contact with Singpass/Corppass, a strategic partner, an authorised visa agent appointed by a Singapore Overseas Mission, or the Singapore Overseas Mission itself. The right route depends on the passport, where the applicant is filing from, and the live Mission procedure.

An appointed agent should identify the Mission that authorises its filing route and check the Form 14A details against your passport, photo, trip dates and supporting documents before submitting. Ask which party will actually file and how you will receive the application reference.

Check ICA's visa rule for the passport you will travel on. Then use MFA's Mission finder to locate the Singapore Overseas Mission for your place of residence. Ask that Mission whether its procedure accepts your passport and residence status, whether you must use an agent it appoints, and which documents and fees apply. Living in another country does not change the passport rule or make the filing route from your passport country apply automatically.

For example, a Russian passport holder living in the UAE checks ICA's Russian passport rule, then the Singapore Mission procedure for the UAE address where they will file. A Russian Embassy in the UAE does not submit Singapore visa applications. A genuine eligible local contact in Singapore may offer a separate ICA online route; check eligibility before choosing it.

You can prepare your own Form 14A and contact the Singapore Overseas Mission responsible for where you live. That does not mean you can hand in the application at its counter. ICA permits filing at the nearest Mission or through a Mission-appointed authorised visa agent when you have no eligible Singapore local contact, but tells applicants to check that Mission's procedure first.

The difference is real: the Singapore Embassy in Abu Dhabi says it does not accept visa applications and directs applicants to an eligible Singapore local contact or its appointed agent. The Embassy in Doha does not accept individual walk-ins and directs applicants to its authorised agents. The High Commission in Dhaka also requires online submission through one of its authorised agents. Check the current page for your Mission before travelling there or paying anyone.

First, check ICA's visa requirement for the passport you will travel on. Then find the Singapore Mission for your place of residence through MFA and read its visa instructions. Ask whether it accepts applicants with your passport and residence status, who may submit Form 14A, whether an appointment or an appointed agent is required, and which supporting documents, fee and processing time apply. Do not assume your own country's embassy can file a Singapore visa for you.

You can collect the documents and deal with the permitted submitter yourself, even when the Mission requires an appointed agent. If you have a genuine eligible local contact in Singapore, check the separate ICA online route. Keep any Form V39A requirement distinct from the question of who files: an agent does not automatically replace a required introducer. Save the submission reference and follow the filing channel's status instructions. ICA decides the visa; approval does not guarantee entry.

An applicant in Bangalore or Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai or Chennai should confirm who is authorised to file Form 14A for that location. A travel agency's location or advertising does not prove that it can submit a Singapore visa application.

Start from ICA and the relevant Singapore Overseas Mission or MFA page for the place you are filing from. Mission-appointed authorised-agent lists and procedures can change, so confirm the current New Delhi, Chennai or Mumbai instructions before choosing a filing route or sharing passport data.

The Form 14A package costs US$29 and suits travellers who already have a permitted filer: a Singapore local contact with SingPass or a visa agency handling their case. We fill in and double-check Form 14A in your language and e-mail the ready package — the completed IMM 14A, photo, passport page and bookings — to that filer. They submit through the applicable ICA or Mission route, pay the official processing charge separately and confirm submission from our e-mail. We do not file. ICA's online fee is S$30; a Mission-appointed agent may collect a published local-currency fee and its own permitted service charge.

The Form V39A letter plan costs US$49 if an eligible route requires a Letter of Introduction. We can prepare it for your own eligible Singapore contact to sign and file through ICA. If you have nobody in Singapore and your mission or authorised-agent route asks for it, our sponsor can sign for an eligible case; you or your agency submit there. We do not file on this plan, and the official processing charge is separate. Full support costs US$149 when we arrange an eligible route and file; it includes ICA's S$30 fee. ICA decides every application.

For eligible cases we file through ICA, our usual service estimate is 3–4 working days after submission. If you use a Mission-appointed agent, follow that Mission's published processing time instead. Neither estimate promises an ICA decision, visa approval or entry.

No agent can promise approval, a specific visa type, a specific Visit Pass period, or entry at the checkpoint. ICA considers each application on its own merits, and officers decide whether a traveller may enter Singapore when they arrive.

Be careful with any site that sells guaranteed approval, says the SG Arrival Card is a paid visa, hides who actually files Form 14A, or pushes you to use a fake local contact. Those shortcuts may look convenient, but they can create a weaker and less credible application.

Flights, hotels and insurance do not show that a provider is permitted to file Form 14A. Before paying for visa filing, verify who will submit the application and check that route against the current ICA page or the relevant Singapore Overseas Mission page.

Start with scope and total cost. Entry-visa support is separate from work passes, Student's Pass, Dependant's Pass and long-term family routes. The service should explain who prepares Form 14A, who submits it, whether ICA's S$30 fee is included and what changes if the traveller has no Singapore sponsor.

Then check the process. Reliable filing support asks for passport details exactly as printed, checks the photo and supporting documents for consistency, uses current ICA or Mission sources and states the approval boundary clearly. A filing route should work with ICA's rules, not claim to bypass them.
