  • ICA — Entry visa requirements
  • ICA — current Form 14A
  • ICA — submitting Form 14A and V39A online

The short answer: choose Form-only help if you already have a permitted filing route and mainly need Form 14A prepared correctly. Choose done-for-you help when you want document review, route guidance and eligible filing support through the permitted route. In both cases, ICA remains the decision-maker.

The wrong choice usually comes from confusing preparation with approval. A cleaner form and better document consistency can reduce avoidable mistakes, but no service can guarantee that ICA will approve the visa or that checkpoint officers will grant entry.

Form-only or done-for-you?

Form-only help is preparation support. It can make Form 14A cleaner, but it does not create a filing route by itself. Done-for-you help adds document review, route guidance, applicant follow-up and eligible submission support where the case fits the permitted route.

Do not buy either service if the traveller does not need a Singapore entry visa for that passport and trip. In many visa-free cases, the right official flow is the free SG Arrival Card where ICA requires it, not paid Form 14A help.

What Form-only help should include

Form-only support is best when the applicant has a real local contact, strategic partner, authorised route or Singapore Overseas Mission process already available. The service focuses on collecting passport-matching details in English and preparing the Form 14A accurately.

Travellers reviewing a Singapore visa preparation checklist together

It should also flag obvious contradictions, such as names that do not match the passport, dates that do not match bookings, a photo that is unlikely to pass checks, or an address that does not match the travel story. It does not replace the actual filer or the official route.

What done-for-you help adds

Done-for-you support adds the operational layer around the form: document consistency review, local-contact or authorised-route guidance, applicant follow-up and eligible submission support where the case fits the permitted route. It is useful when the applicant wants fewer moving parts and clearer accountability.

A good done-for-you service still sets limits. It should tell you what is included, which fees are service fees, whether any official or mission fee is included, and where the process depends on ICA or a Singapore Overseas Mission.

When not to buy either service

If your nationality does not need a Singapore entry visa for the trip, there may be no Form 14A to prepare. In that case the correct path is usually the free SG Arrival Card where ICA requires it, plus meeting normal entry conditions.

Do not buy Form 14A help for work passes, Student's Pass, Dependant's Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass or permanent residence. Those are separate ICA or MOM processes. VisatoSingapore's paid filing scope today is Singapore travel or entry visas and Form 14A.

What should never be included

Neither package should include an approval guarantee, a fake local contact, a paid SG Arrival Card sold as a visa, a promise of checkpoint entry, or a claim that private preparation changes ICA's decision standard.

A transparent service should separate service fees from official or Mission fees, say who submits the application, and explain which documents or route details remain under ICA, MFA or Singapore Overseas Mission control.

A practical decision rule

A completed Form 14A PDF is not proof that a visa application has been submitted. For example, if your form is ready but nobody has agreed to file it through a permitted route, buying a more expensive package does not resolve that gap automatically. Confirm the filing party and case eligibility before paying for any package.

Our US$39 service prepares the form; it does not submit the application, and the ICA S$30 fee is separate. US$69 includes the ICA fee for supported cases with your own genuine eligible Singapore local contact. US$149 includes the ICA fee for supported cases without your own contact, but only after the permitted route has been confirmed. These prices buy defined work, not a sponsor's identity or an approval guarantee.

Before paying, ask who will submit, whether the quoted total includes the official fee, and whether the next deliverable is a prepared PDF or an application reference after actual submission. Check current ICA or Singapore Overseas Mission requirements before making non-refundable travel commitments.

  1. What arrives by email

The email contains your review link, the branded summary PDF and the next step. Form-only customers also receive the prepared IMM 14A. This is not an ICA decision.

  2. What the permitted filer submits

The permitted filer enters the application data and uses the photo and supporting documents in ICA's e-Service, including SAVE where applicable. ICA says hardcopies of Form 14A and V39A are not required for an online application unless ICA requests them.

  3. After a real submission

An ICA application reference confirms submission, not approval. If ICA approves the application, the e-Visa is delivered separately; permission to enter is still decided by ICA at the checkpoint.
