Singapore visa for Ukrainians 2026

A Ukrainian ordinary passport needs a Singapore entry visa for a normal visit. Check the document you will actually travel with: ICA lists a separate exemption for Ukrainian diplomatic, official and service passports. An ordinary passport does not gain that exemption because its holder works for a government or lives abroad.

Get the visa before travelling if Singapore is your destination. The free SG Arrival Card comes later and does not replace it. An approved visa lets you travel to the checkpoint; the ICA officer still decides whether to grant entry and the length of the Visit Pass.

Start with the Ukrainian passport you intend to use at the airport. For a business or social visit, ICA asks for signed Form 14A, a passport-sized colour photograph taken within three months and the biodata-page copy. Check that the passport has at least six months' validity from your planned Singapore entry date.

If a supporting document is in Ukrainian or another language, submit its original with an official English translation and the copies ICA requires. ICA describes which translations it accepts on its Ukraine page; a casual translation made for travel planning is not enough. ICA may ask for further documents in an individual case.

Work out who can lodge the application before assembling the file. ICA allows an eligible Singapore local contact or strategic partner to submit online. Without one, check the Singapore Overseas Mission serving your place of residence and follow its published procedure, which may use a Mission-appointed authorised agent.

A local contact is a real person or business contact, not a name to purchase for Form 14A. ICA may request Form V39A, the Letter of Introduction for Visa Application, case by case. Ask the chosen filing channel whether it is needed for your case before seeking a signature.

ICA lists Ukraine under the visa-free transit facility (VFTF). For example, a traveller going from Poland through Singapore to Thailand can assess that route against ICA's third-country transit rule. They need a valid onward air ticket for departure from Singapore within 96 hours and must actually leave by air.

A holiday whose destination is Singapore is a visa application, even if the flight changes planes elsewhere. VFTF is decided by ICA at the checkpoint and the stay cannot be extended. Check the current ICA conditions before booking a trip that depends on this facility.

Suppose you live in Poland but travel on an ordinary Ukrainian passport. Use Ukraine's ICA visa rule, then check which Singapore Mission accepts applications from residents where you live. A Polish address may affect where you can submit; it does not change the passport category used for the visa decision.

If a Mission asks for evidence of residence or uses an appointed agent, follow that Mission's instructions rather than a Ukraine-only checklist copied from someone else's application. If your actual journey is transit through Singapore, assess VFTF separately against the itinerary and onward-air conditions above.

The ICA visa processing fee is S$30 and is non-refundable. ICA's usual processing period is three working days, excluding submission day, but a case can take longer. Leave room for a document request before buying a non-refundable ticket.

Read the Latin spelling and order of every name from the passport biodata page, then compare them with Form 14A and any translated document. Check the passport number and travel dates again. A mismatch is easier to resolve before the local contact or Mission lodges the file.
