SG Arrival Card timing questions
How does the SG Arrival Card date calculator work?
It counts the planned arrival date as the final day and goes back two calendar days. An arrival on 20 July therefore gives a submission window of 18-20 July.
Can I submit the SG Arrival Card earlier than the calculated date?
ICA currently asks travellers to submit within three days before arrival, including the arrival day. Use the calculated window and check the live ICA page before submitting.
Is the SG Arrival Card the same as a Singapore visa?
No. The SG Arrival Card is a free arrival declaration. It does not replace an entry visa when a visa is required for the passport and trip.
Does submitting the SG Arrival Card guarantee entry?
No. Submission does not guarantee admission. Entry is assessed separately by Singapore immigration officers at the checkpoint.
What if my flight, hotel or health details change?
Follow the current ICA instructions and make sure the declaration reflects the trip you will actually take. Do not rely on an old calculation or acknowledgement when the arrival date has changed.
