What are the Singapore visa photo requirements for Indians?
The Singapore visa photo follows ICA's passport-style rules: a recent colour shot against a plain white background, sharply focused, full face visible, neutral expression. Leave off hats and tinted glasses, and make sure nothing throws a shadow behind you.
For the digital file, JPG, PNG, or WEBP all work, and it needs to be portrait-shaped rather than a square or landscape crop. On upload, our form checks the type, size, and rough dimensions and flags a photo that looks too small or wrongly shaped before it ever reaches your Form 14A.
A clean phone photo against a white wall in good daylight usually clears the bar. When one is rejected, the cure is almost always more even lighting and a plainer background, not a studio sitting. ICA publishes the authoritative photo standard.
