Visa Singapore
Free photo pre-check

Free Singapore Visa Photo Maker & 400x514 Converter

Check your Form 14A photo, then crop and convert it into a downloadable 400x514 JPG in your browser. The tool checks file type, the 8 MB limit and portrait shape; it cannot fix pose, background or lighting or guarantee ICA acceptance.

This is a pre-check, not a guarantee that ICA will accept the photo. Requirements can change, so verify the latest ICA photo guidance before filing.

ICA online photo facts

Use these live-source facts as preparation checks, then verify ICA photo guidelines again before final filing.

Recommended online dimension

400x514 px

ICA lists 400x514 pixels for photo upload through e-Services. Use a sharper source file when possible.

Online file limit

8 MB

ICA lists 8 MB as the maximum online photo file size. This checker flags files above that limit.

ICA online formats

jpg/jpeg/heic/heif/png

This checker reads JPG, PNG and WEBP for browser pre-checks; HEIC/HEIF should be verified through the filing route.

Before you use the photo in Form 14A

  • Use a recent colour photo on a plain white background.
  • Avoid selfies, filters, beauty edits and any facial alteration.
  • Treat a pass result as a file-quality pre-check, not an ICA acceptance guarantee.

Photo checks by applicant market

Use the same ICA photo source, then route the applicant to the right country or residence guide before Form 14A filing.

Upload a passport-style photo

JPG, PNG or WEBP. Use a recent colour photo on a plain white background.

Your photo is checked in this browser and is not uploaded by this tool.

VisatoSingapore provides independent Form 14A preparation and filing support for eligible Singapore entry-visa applications. We are not ICA and do not decide approval or entry. The SG Arrival Card is free at ica.gov.sg.

  • Plain white background with even lighting.
  • Recent colour photo with the face centred and shoulders visible.

Photos likely to fail

  • Glare on glasses, red-eye or uneven lighting.

FAQ

Is this an official ICA photo checker?

No. It is a VisatoSingapore pre-check that helps catch common file, size and crop problems before Form 14A preparation. ICA makes the final assessment.

Does the checker upload my photo?

No. The check runs in your browser. To prepare and submit a case with VisatoSingapore, you can upload the photo later inside the application flow.

Can a passing result guarantee visa approval?

No. A clean photo helps the application package, but ICA decides visa approval and checkpoint entry on the whole case.

What Singapore visa photo size does this checker use?

The pre-check looks for a readable passport-style image of at least about 400x514 px, under 8 MB, in JPG, PNG or WEBP format, with a portrait crop. ICA can change photo specifications, so verify the live ICA photo guidance before final filing.

What size should a Singapore visa photo be?

For online upload through ICA e-Services, the current ICA page recommends 400x514 pixels. Verify the live ICA page before filing because requirements can change.

Can I take the photo with a phone or use a selfie?

A phone can be used, but ICA recommends asking someone else to take the photo and does not recommend selfies. Do not alter or enhance facial features.

Is this photo maker free?

Yes. The browser pre-check, crop and 400x514 conversion are free, with no sign-up, watermark or paywall.

How many pixels is a 35x45 mm photo?

There is no single pixel value without choosing a print resolution. For ICA online photo submission, use the separately stated 400x514-pixel recommendation rather than converting 35x45 mm or assuming a 600 DPI rule.

Does the photo need a white background?

ICA's current visual guidance shows a plain white background and even lighting. Check the live requirements guide before final filing.

Does a person review my photo in this tool?

No. This is an automatic browser pre-check. A human may review the photo later as part of a supported application, and ICA makes the final assessment.
