What documents are needed for a Singapore visa from India?

VisatoSingapore Editorial TeamReviewed Jul 12, 2026

Short answer

An Indian traveller's core file for a Singapore visa is short: a passport valid for at least six months from your date of entry into Singapore, a completed Form 14A, a recent passport-style photo on a plain white background, and evidence of your onward or return travel plan, such as a refundable booking or itinerary if you already have one.

Some trips draw a request for more: proof of where you'll stay, evidence that you can fund the visit, or the details of a Singapore-based contact if you have one. No single list fits every applicant, so treat ICA's published checklist as the one that counts.

The usual stumbling block isn't an absent document. It's two documents that disagree, a passport spelling that differs from the ticket, or travel dates that don't line up. A reviewing officer reads that as carelessness, so we cross-check those details before the form goes in.
