How does the Singapore e-Visa work for Bangladeshis?

VisatoSingapore Editorial TeamReviewed Jul 12, 2026

Short answer

Singapore grants visas electronically, so a Bangladeshi applicant receives an e-Visa rather than a passport stamp. You print it and carry it with your passport; no sticker or stamp goes in ahead of time, and there's nothing to read into the blank page.

Hold onto it both printed and as a phone photo, so the checkpoint never hangs on a missing page or a drained battery. Your approved travel window is printed on the e-Visa, so book your dates to stay within it.

An approved e-Visa lets you travel to a Singapore checkpoint; it does not make entry automatic. The final call rests with an ICA officer at the counter, and that applies to every arriving visitor regardless of passport.

Status and e-Visa next steps

Check status, print e-Visa or choose the next visa route

A real Singapore visa status check depends on the original filing route and reference details. Use the route finder before entering passport data on unfamiliar websites, and keep SG Arrival Card, e-Pass and e-Visa status separate.

Frequently asked

Is the Singapore e-Visa stamped into a Bangladeshi passport?
No. If approved, the Singapore visa is issued electronically and can be printed by the permitted submitting party. Carry the e-Visa with your passport; ICA still decides entry at the checkpoint.
How can a Bangladeshi applicant download or print the Singapore e-Visa?
After approval, ask the authorised agent or other permitted route that submitted Form 14A to retrieve and provide the e-Visa copy. Use the official ICA status route where it applies; avoid unrelated download sites that cannot show a connection to the submitted application.
Does a Singapore e-Visa guarantee entry for a Bangladeshi traveller?
No. Carry the printed e-Visa with the same passport used for the application, but ICA officers still decide entry at the checkpoint. The free SG Arrival Card is a separate arrival declaration and does not replace the e-Visa.
