Singapore visa for Pakistani travellers: requirements, fee and timing (2026)
Short answer
Pakistani travel-document holders need a Singapore entry visa before travel; there is no visa on arrival. First confirm the filing route for your country of residence, then prepare Form 14A, the passport file, photo and a genuine Form V39A/LOI route.

Do Pakistani passport holders need a Singapore visa?
Yes. ICA lists Pakistan among the travel documents whose holders need a Singapore entry visa before travel. There is no visa on arrival for this route. An approved e-Visa lets you travel to Singapore and seek entry, but ICA still makes the admission decision at the checkpoint.
Use the passport you will actually present at the border for this check. Residence in another country, a foreign residence permit or a previous Singapore trip does not by itself turn a Pakistani travel document into a visa-free one.
Choose the filing route before collecting documents
A Pakistani traveller in Pakistan should check the Singapore Overseas Mission procedure that serves Pakistan and any current appointed-agent instructions. A Pakistani traveller who legally resides elsewhere should check the Singapore Mission serving that country of residence. Do not assume that a route advertised for another country can accept the application.
ICA also lists submission through an eligible strategic partner or a local contact in Singapore. The right route determines who can submit, how the fee is paid and whether the local-contact details are used in the filing. Confirm that before handing passport data or money to anyone.
Build the core file ICA lists
The core list is a completed and signed Form 14A, a recent passport-size colour photo taken within the last three months, a copy of the passport biodata page and a completed Form V39A Letter of Introduction. The passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. ICA may ask for additional documents after reviewing the case.

Run a line-by-line consistency check before submission: the name and passport number should match the biodata page; arrival and departure dates should fit the itinerary; the Singapore address should match the accommodation evidence; and the declared purpose should match what the local contact or business contact can confirm. A polished form does not repair contradictory evidence.
Use a genuine Letter of Introduction route
For a social visit, ICA says the Singapore local contact should be a citizen or permanent resident aged at least 21 with Singpass. For a business visit, the contact acts on behalf of a Singapore-registered business. ICA also says an embassy-issued Letter of Introduction may be accepted for a social or business visit when there is no local contact, so confirm the current process with the Singapore Overseas Mission serving your place of residence.
A hotel reservation is accommodation evidence, not a substitute for a person or business that is entitled to provide the LOI. Do not buy a borrowed identity, copied address or signature. If you have no genuine Singapore contact, ask the relevant Mission about the official alternative rather than changing the trip story to fit a seller's form.
Two examples that lead to different routes
Example one: a Pakistani traveller visiting a sibling who is a Singapore permanent resident may have a genuine social-visit contact who can complete the LOI and, if eligible, use ICA's local-contact route. The hotel or family address still needs to agree with the accommodation stated on Form 14A.
Example two: a Pakistani professional travelling for meetings with a Singapore company should use truthful business-contact details and the route serving the traveller's residence. A social contact bought online is not a safer shortcut; it creates a different and inconsistent purpose. In either example, the permitted submitter prints the e-Visa only after approval.
Apply with enough time for checks
ICA advises submitting within 30 days before arrival. Its Pakistan guidance says complete applications are normally processed within three working days, excluding the day of submission, but some cases take longer. This is a processing guide, not an approval deadline.
Leave room for the Mission or filing party to check the route, for a request for additional documents and for the approved e-Visa to be retrieved. Do not make a non-refundable itinerary depend on the shortest published timing.
What does ICA charge for the visa?
ICA's visa processing fee is S$30 and is non-refundable. A Singapore Overseas Mission or authorised filing route may publish a separate service charge. Ask for an itemised total that distinguishes the official fee from preparation, agent or Mission charges before payment.
Payment is not evidence of approval. A legitimate service should be able to state who submits the application, which official route it uses and what happens if ICA asks for more information.
What VisatoSingapore can and cannot do
We can collect the Form 14A details, review the passport and supporting file for contradictions, and confirm whether an eligible submission route exists before filing support begins. We do not sell a local contact or manufacture an LOI.
ICA remains the decision-maker and may request more information, take longer than its normal guide or refuse the application. Check the live ICA Pakistan page and the Mission procedure serving your residence again before submitting because filing instructions can change.
