Singapore visa for Kyrgyz citizens 2026

Kyrgyz ordinary passport holders need a Singapore entry visa for ordinary visits. ICA's Kyrgyzstan page also notes that holders of diplomatic, official and service passports do not need a visa for entry, so check the passport type before preparing Form 14A.

Do not confuse this with the 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility. ICA lists Kyrgyzstan under the CIS group for VFTF, which may apply only when the itinerary is a genuine transit to or from a third country and the traveller meets the current conditions. For an ordinary Singapore stay, prepare the entry visa route instead.

For business or social visits, ICA lists a completed and signed Form 14A as the core application form. If the application is approved, the local contact, strategic partner or authorised visa agent can use ICA's e-Service to print a copy of the e-Visa.

A Singapore entry visa is pre-entry permission to travel and seek entry. It is separate from SG Arrival Card, and it does not guarantee entry or a fixed stay period; ICA officers at the checkpoint decide the Visit Pass period and whether the traveller may enter.

ICA's Kyrgyzstan guidance lists Form 14A, a recent passport-sized colour photograph and a passport biodata-page copy as the main document set. It says additional supporting documents, for example Form V39A / Letter of Introduction for Visa Application, may be required case by case.

That means a Kyrgyz application should not invent a sponsor story just because another country page mentions LOI more directly. If ICA, a mission or the filing route asks for a local-contact or LOI document, make sure the contact details, visit purpose and supporting documents match the rest of the file.

The official document set includes Form 14A, a recent passport-sized colour photograph taken within the last three months, and a photocopy of the passport biodata page. The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. ICA may ask for additional documents depending on the case.

For a Kyrgyz- or Russian-language supporting document, prepare the original, an official English translation, and copies for ICA to retain. This is a requirement for documents not in English. Compare the name in the translation with the Latin spelling in the passport; do not substitute a different spelling on Form 14A to match an older record.

ICA accepts translations from the embassy of the country or place that issued the document, or from a notary public in Singapore or the issuing country or place. A private translation must be attested by that embassy or notarised by such a notary public. ICA does not endorse private translation companies.

ICA recommends applying within the 30 days before arrival in Singapore. This is an application window, not a promise of a 30-day stay or a requirement to wait until the last few days. Prepare the passport, photograph, and any required translations before the filing date.

ICA lists a non-refundable S$30 processing fee and says visa applications are processed within three working days, excluding the day of submission. ICA also notes that some applications may take longer and that each case is considered on its own merits, so use this as planning guidance, not a guarantee.

Applications can be submitted online through a strategic partner or local contact in Singapore, or through the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission or its authorised visa agent where that procedure applies. Because mission and authorised-agent procedures can change, verify the live route before relying on a summary or booking around a tight timeline.

Diplomatic, official and service passports are exempt under ICA's Kyrgyzstan guidance; an ordinary passport needs the entry-visa route. Compare passport details, translations, accommodation, funds and trip dates with Form 14A. VFTF applies only to qualifying transit, not an ordinary stay.

Suppose two family members use Kyrgyz ordinary passports and one uses a service passport. ICA exempts the service passport, but the two ordinary-passport holders still need their own entry-visa applications. Shared flights and accommodation do not merge the passport decisions.

For each visa-required traveller, copy the Latin name and passport number into that person's Form 14A and attach that person's photo and biodata page. Shared evidence should still cover the full group and travel period clearly.

For Kyrgyz nationals, ICA considers VFTF only for transit through Singapore to or from a third country. You need a valid onward air ticket and must depart Singapore by air within 96 hours. Arrival can be by any mode of transport. You must meet Singapore entry requirements; ICA decides eligibility at the checkpoint, and an extension of stay under VFTF is not allowed.

For example, Bishkek to Singapore and back to Bishkek is a return visit, even if the stay is only two days. An ordinary passport needs the visa for that visit. An onward flight to a third country can meet the route element of VFTF, but the ticket, air-departure deadline, and entry requirements still apply.
