Do I need a Singapore visa if I stay airside at Changi?

Normally, a traveller who remains in the airport transit area and does not clear arrival immigration is not entering Singapore. Confirm that the airline can transfer bags and provide onward boarding access without immigration clearance.

Does a self-transfer count as airside transit?

Not automatically. If you must collect baggage, obtain a boarding pass landside or re-check bags after immigration, ICA treats you as seeking entry and ordinary entry rules apply.

Does this checker approve VFTF?

No. It only compares answers with the main published conditions. An ICA officer at the checkpoint decides whether a traveller may enter under VFTF.

Do airside transit travellers submit the SG Arrival Card?

ICA generally exempts travellers who transit without seeking immigration clearance. If you clear immigration, check the live SG Arrival Card requirement for your arrival.
