Singapore visa for Tajik citizens 2026

A Dushanbe–Singapore–Dushanbe return trip is a visit, even if the stay is shorter than 96 hours. The holder of an ordinary Tajik passport needs a Singapore entry visa for that trip. ICA exempts holders of Tajik diplomatic, official and service passports, so check the document being used rather than the traveller's job title.

If Singapore is a stop on the way to or from a third country, check ICA's CIS 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF). A qualifying traveller needs a valid onward air ticket leaving Singapore within 96 hours and must depart by air. ICA decides entry at the checkpoint, and an extension of stay is not allowed under VFTF. Living outside Tajikistan does not make a return visit a transit journey.

For business or social visits, ICA lists a completed and signed Form 14A as the core application form. If the application is approved, the local contact, strategic partner or authorised visa agent can use ICA's e-Service to print a copy of the e-Visa.

A Singapore entry visa is pre-entry permission to travel and seek entry. It is separate from SG Arrival Card, and it does not guarantee entry or a fixed stay period; ICA officers at the checkpoint decide the Visit Pass period and whether the traveller may enter.

ICA's Tajikistan guidance lists Form 14A, a recent passport-sized colour photograph and a passport biodata-page copy as the main document set. It says additional supporting documents, for example Form V39A / Letter of Introduction for Visa Application, may be required case by case.

That means a Tajik application should not invent a sponsor story just because another country page mentions LOI more directly. If ICA, a mission or the filing route asks for a local-contact or LOI document, make sure the contact details, visit purpose and supporting documents match the rest of the file.

The official document set includes Form 14A, a recent passport-sized colour photograph taken within the last three months, and a photocopy of the passport biodata page valid for at least six months from the date of entry. ICA may ask for additional documents depending on the case.

ICA requires original documents and copies for its records, with official English translations for documents in other languages. If a Tajik- or Russian-language employment letter is requested, place its translation beside the original and copy. Compare the employer name and employment dates; a translation must not silently change a date to match Form 14A.

ICA lists a non-refundable S$30 processing fee and says visa applications are processed within three working days, excluding the day of submission. ICA also notes that some applications may take longer and that each case is considered on its own merits, so use this as planning guidance, not a guarantee.

Applications can be submitted online through a strategic partner or local contact in Singapore, or through the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission or its authorised visa agent where that procedure applies. Because mission and authorised-agent procedures can change, verify the live route before relying on a summary or booking around a tight timeline.

For an ordinary-passport visit, use the entry-visa route and keep the passport spelling, English translations, accommodation, funds and trip dates aligned with Form 14A. Diplomatic, official and service passports are exempt; VFTF is a separate option only for qualifying transit.

A Tajik diplomatic, official or service passport is exempt under ICA's country guidance. An ordinary passport used by a government employee is still an ordinary passport and needs the entry visa for an ordinary visit. Read the document type, not the traveller's occupation.

Use the Latin name exactly as printed in the travel passport on Form 14A, accommodation and travel evidence. A Tajik- or Russian-language bank or employment record may transliterate the name differently; an official English translation should reconcile the spelling rather than introduce an unexplained second identity.
