Do Egyptian travellers need a transit visa for Singapore?

For an Egyptian passport holder, staying airside at Changi without clearing Singapore immigration generally means no Singapore entry visa or SG Arrival Card is needed for the transit itself. Confirm with the operating airline that your baggage and boarding passes can remain airside, especially with separate tickets or a self-transfer.

If the itinerary requires you to clear Singapore immigration, an Egyptian passport holder needs an ordinary Singapore entry visa before travel. This includes any connection where baggage collection, re-check-in or the airline's procedure requires landside processing.
