Taiwan passport to Singapore: visa-free visits and stay
Short answer
Taiwan ROC passport holders do not need a Singapore entry visa for business or social visits of up to 30 days. ICA decides the stay actually granted on arrival. A Taiwan resident using another passport must check that document separately.

Does a Taiwan passport need a Singapore visa?
Singapore's Trade Office in Taipei says Taiwan ROC passport holders do not need an entry visa for business or social visits of up to 30 days. You do not need Form 14A for a visit covered by that exemption. Check the current Trade Office guidance before departure.
The rule follows the passport you present for this trip. Living in Taiwan, flying from Taipei or holding a Taiwan residence permit does not give a different passport the same exemption.

Will I automatically be allowed to stay 30 days?
No. The 30 days describe the visa exemption for the stated visit. ICA officers decide whether to admit you and how long you may stay. After entry, check the last day on the Visit Pass or e-Pass sent to the email address used for your SG Arrival Card. If you need more time, read the Visit Pass extension guide and use ICA's current extension service before your pass expires.
What should I check before departure?
A visa exemption does not remove the normal entry checks. ICA asks most travellers to submit the free SG Arrival Card within three days before arrival, including the arrival day. Check that your passport has at least six months' validity and keep your onward or return plan and funds information available if asked. The SG Arrival Card guide links to ICA's free service.
I live in Taiwan but have a different passport. Where can I apply?
First check ICA's visa-required document list for the passport you will use. If it requires a visa, the Taipei Trade Office describes two routes: an eligible Singapore local contact can submit online through ICA, or an applicant can ask the Trade Office about in-person filing. The Office lists a Taiwan Resident Certificate among its in-person documents. Confirm its current eligibility and document requirements with the Office before preparing Form 14A or paying a service fee.
Is a Taiwan passport the same case as a PRC travel document?
No. An ordinary PRC passport has its own short-visit exemption, while ICA lists the PRC Travel Document and some other documents separately as visa-required. Use the PRC passport and travel-document guide for those documents. If you hold more than one passport, check the one you will use to enter Singapore.
