Singapore visa for Algerians 2026

If you will enter on an Algerian passport, arrange a Singapore entry visa before an ordinary visit. ICA lists travel documents issued by Algeria as visa-required. If you also hold another passport or a different travel document, check the document you will actually present; your Algerian nationality or current address alone does not settle that document's rule.

Keep three decisions separate. The visa lets a visa-required traveller seek entry; the free SG Arrival Card is an arrival declaration; the Visit Pass or e-Pass records the stay granted after admission. Neither a paid application nor an approved e-Visa guarantees entry.

For a social or business visit, complete and sign Form 14A using the details of the Algerian passport you plan to travel with. Work out the authorised submission channel before paying for form help: the person who prepares your paperwork is not necessarily the person who can lodge it with ICA.

Only after approval can the submitting local contact, strategic partner or authorised visa agent retrieve an e-Visa through ICA's e-Service. Check its passport details before departure. It is a pre-travel visa, not permission to collect one at the Singapore checkpoint.

ICA's Algeria page lists completed Form V39A in the application documents. A Singapore local contact issuing it must be a citizen or permanent resident, at least 21, with Singpass. Ask who will sign before you start the rest of the file.

For a business visit, that contact must act for the Singapore-registered company involved in the visit. If you cannot obtain a local-contact LOI, ICA says one issued by your Embassy can also be accepted for a social or business visit. Your Embassy as LOI issuer and the Singapore Overseas Mission as an application channel have different jobs; confirm both arrangements if you need them.

Set aside signed Form 14A, completed Form V39A, a passport-sized colour photograph taken in the past three months and the biodata-page copy. The passport needs at least six months' validity from the planned entry date. ICA can request further evidence for an individual case.

For an Arabic- or French-language document submitted as evidence, ICA asks for the original, an official English translation and copies it can retain. Its Algeria page explains the accepted embassy, notary and attested-translation routes. Match the Latin name on the passport to the LOI and translated records; explain a different spelling rather than silently switching identities.

ICA's processing fee is S$30 and is non-refundable. The published processing period is three working days excluding submission day, with longer cases possible. That clock does not include time spent finding an eligible LOI signer, translating a record or meeting a Mission's own submission procedure.

An eligible Singapore local contact or strategic partner can submit online. Otherwise check the Singapore Overseas Mission that handles applications from where you live and whether it uses an appointed agent. Confirm the channel's documents, appointment and charges directly before buying a ticket around ICA's processing estimate.

Suppose you live in France and will travel on an Algerian passport. Start with ICA's Algeria visa and LOI rules, then check the Singapore Overseas Mission procedure serving your current residence. Living in France can affect where you may submit; it does not change the visa rule for the Algerian passport.

Visiting a friend in Singapore? Check whether that person meets ICA's citizen or permanent-resident, age and Singpass conditions before asking them for Form V39A. Travelling for meetings? The signer must act for the Singapore-registered business, and the invitation and stated purpose should agree.

When neither contact route fits, ask your Embassy about the LOI ICA says it can accept. A hotel booking shows where you plan to stay; it does not sign Form V39A. Paying someone for a name or signature cannot repair an ineligible contact.

Read the Latin spelling and passport number from the biodata page, then check Form 14A, Form V39A and bookings line by line. A French or Arabic record may render a name differently in English; the official translation should make clear that it belongs to the same traveller.
