LTVP किसके लिए है
LTVP उन relatives के लिए है जो Dependant's Pass की immediate family definition पूरी नहीं करते। Sponsor के आधार पर इसमें parent, common-law spouse, unmarried stepchild, या usual age limit से ऊपर handicapped child शामिल हो सकता है। यह उन cases को cover करता है जिन्हें Dependant's Pass जानबूझकर बाहर रखता है।

Sponsor की भूमिका
LTVP हमेशा sponsor से anchored होता है: route के अनुसार eligible work-pass holder, Singapore citizen या permanent resident। Sponsor की eligibility, including relevant income या status conditions, यह तय करने में central है कि application की जा भी सकती है या नहीं।

Dependant's Pass से अंतर
Dependant's Pass eligible pass holders के legally married spouse और set age से कम unmarried children के लिए reserved है। LTVP edges पर wider और looser है; यह parents, common-law partners और कुछ step या handicapped children जैसे relatives का route है जिन्हें Dependant's Pass exclude करता है।
एक practical difference भी महत्वपूर्ण है: LTVP रखने से अपने आप work right नहीं मिलता। Employment के लिए proper channel से separate authorisation या work pass चाहिए, और यह visit pass रखने से अलग सवाल है।
